RECYCLED + CONFLICT FREE

In keeping with our ethical commitment, 100% of our jewelry is responsibly handcrafted in NYC. We do not engage in overseas production and everyone involved in our supply chain earns a generous living wage. All of our diamond suppliers are Kimberley Process compliant, which is a certification system that prohibits the trading of diamonds from war-torn regions. In addition, we use eco-gold and eco-platinum from melted down, already existing supplies to the furthest extent possible. By using recycled metal we help to decrease the global demand for newly mined gold and the social/environmental destruction that comes with it.

SUPPORTING CHARITIES

Over the years we have helped raise thousands of dollars for the Global Witness, The Brady Campaign, Obama 2008 Presidential Campaign, Red Cross (Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief, Haitian relief, and Gulf Coast clean-up efforts), and Harlem Children’s Zone.

BUILDING A BETTER FUTURE

The current system of diamond processing and metal sourcing is not perfect. However, we try our best to create jewelry in the most ethical manner possible, while supporting charities and organizations that promote positive changes, prevent abuses, and protect the environment. It is our policy to be fully transparent and forthcoming with regard to every part of our supply chain. If you have any questions, please send an e-mail to: info@danawaldenbridal.com.
